When we lose someone we love, especially a child, the grief can feel like it will never end. This is a true story of spiritual healing, soul retrieval, and a powerful connection between a mother and daughter that transcended death.

A Mother Lost in Grief

A woman came to me after the tragic loss of her daughter in a sudden car accident. The event shattered her life and deeply affected her entire family. For more than a year, she was lost in a river of grief — unable to function, unable to work, and feeling completely disconnected from the world around her.

She had tried the conventional medical system, but was only offered medication. The talk therapies she tried often retraumatised her instead of helping her heal. She needed something different — something deeper.

Shamanic Healing Begins

We started by simply listening to her story. Through our sessions, she was finally able to express emotions she had long suppressed. One thing she shared stayed with me:
She felt her daughter was not at peace.
She said, “I can hear her cries. It’s like she’s still suffering.”

We began healing the mother’s pain and gently worked on her acceptance. But at the time, I was still five months away from completing my Death Walking and Soul Retrieval training — a sacred process of helping souls cross over peacefully. I promised her: “When I’m ready, I’ll come for her daughter.”

A Soul Stuck in the Bardo

When I entered advanced training, the very first soul I encountered in the bardo — the space between death and rebirth — was her daughter.

I saw a young woman, hysterical, sitting beside the wreckage of a car in a barren space. She cried out again and again:

“I’m sorry, Mum. I didn’t mean it. It was an accident. Mum, Mum...”

Her cries echoed with such intensity that they seemed to reach into the living world. I felt the exact same pain I had felt months earlier through her mother’s heart.

It had been two years since her passing, and yet neither soul had found peace.

The Healing: Crossing Into the Light

I stayed with the daughter. I spoke with her, held space for her grief, and helped her process her death. Slowly, she accepted what had happened. Eventually, she let go — and passed into the light.

Afterwards, I immediately went to call her mother — to share the healing news. But her phone was disconnected. Her email bounced. She had vanished.

A Powerful Confirmation

Four months later, she reappeared and booked a session.

She shared her own story:
Shortly after we lost contact, she left everything and went to live off-grid on the land. Around February (the exact time I completed the soul retrieval), she received a call from a detective. He said:

"I know this might sound strange, but I feel your daughter is trying to reach me. I’ve decided to reopen the case."
